Must Know Before You Book
We don't have pick-up service.
Cars and taxis can not come inside the old street to our front door.
You'll have to walk along Jishan street about 15 minutes to our guesthouse.
We are in the mountains, so you might see insects, frogs or squirrels on the way to your room.
Our rooms are all on the 3rd and 4th floor without elevator. You’ll have to carry your own luggage to your room.
So if you are afraid of these creatures, or if you have heavy luggage or elderly companion who is not able to climb stairs,
please consider this situation before booking the room !

check-in and check-out time :
check in : 15:00~19:00 at ShanHaiGuan tea house ( No. 150 Jishan street)
check out : before 11:00 ( to check out, just insert the room key into the mailbox at the front desk of ShanHaiGuan guesthouse.)
We are close at 20:00. Please DO NOT book the room if you can't check in before 19:00.
Refund Policy
Due to too many NO-SHOWs recently,
a deposit is required to obtain a confirmed reservation.
Please note the cancellation policy before committing to a reservation.
We'll email you an invoice from PayPal within 24 hours after receiving the reservation form that you've filled out.

Cancellation Policy
(5% of total deposit will apply for handling fees.)
+8 days prior to check-in date : 95% of your deposit will be refunded
3~7 days prior to check-in date : 45% of your deposit will be refunded
If the guest failed to show-up on the arrival date (No Show)
or cancellation of room reservation is done after the 72 hours threshold
(3 days prior to the arrival date), the deposit is not refundable.
If you'd like to change the date of your reservation, please tell us at least 5 days before, or we’ll see it as an cancellation.
The refund will be made through the credit card you use to purchase,
however it could take around 30-45 business days for the actual crediting to take place depending on the bank's practice.

About Cancellations Due to A Natural Disaster :
If you cancel a reservation on the day that the Central Weather Bureau issues a land warning for the typhoon in Taiwan, or the Taiwanese government have called off school and work due to a natural disaster, we'll refund 100% of your deposit.
But if there's no official warning or only a sea warning of the typhoon , the deposit is not refundable.
